AIFS Collaboration: Updates to the Social Science Page & Additional Resources

We have been working closely with our partners at AIFS to update a few of our resources on the ICL website. One of the most recent upgrades has been to our library of social science resources.

Thanks to AIFS’ expertise and hard work we are able to provide the most relevant up to date social science resources to our network in an effort to support ICLs in their critical role. A comprehensive review of existing social science content was conducted, resulting in substantial revisions, notable updates include:

  • Removal and replacement of outdated resources with current social science
  • Addition of new topics and subtopics including:
    • Risk issues in family violence: gender, LGBTIQ+, CaLD and First Nations Families
    • Financial & property issues in parenting matters (including children support)
    • Relocation disputes in parenting matters (including Hague child abduction proceedings)

We encourage ICLs to explore the extensive suite of social science resources which are exclusive to ICL website members. Log in and navigate through to Resources > Social Science from the main menu on the home page.

In our continued effort and commitment to provide ICLs with helpful and relevant information, we are excited to announce that there will be further updates to our website resources as a result of our continued collaboration with AIFS.
