ICL – Phase 2 workshop

Congratulations on completion of Phase 1 of the National ICL Training Program. You are now invited to register for Phase 2 of the training program. This is practical based workshop training working off a nationally developed family law case scenario.

You are required to attend this training in person. You are also required to have read the training materials contained in the workshop folder to be sent to you and be prepared to participate in the workshop training. Please note, you will be assessed on your knowledge and participation by your group facilitators during the training. If your knowledge and participation are deemed satisfactory you will be issued with a certificate of completion of Phase 2 training after the workshop.

Should you wish to apply to join an ICL panel in future, you will need to have received a certificate of completion of Phase 2 training. Furthermore, before proceeding to register for this training you should ensure that you have reviewed the criteria for the Legal Aid Commission you wish to apply to join the ICL panel and satisfy yourself that you have met the requisite criteria. The criteria can be found at icl.gov.au/training-centre/ or by contacting or visiting the website of your state or territory Legal Aid Commission.
